Discovery

We begin with a total immersion in your company. We evaluate four fundamental aspects of your business. First, we measure the product lines and services you’re offering against the needs and desires of the marketplace. Secondly, we get to the truth about your constituents’ experiences and learn how your customers, employees and others feel about doing business with you. Next, we survey your competitive environment and define the forces that help or hinder your success, either directly or indirectly. Finally, we closely examine your corporate culture and internal values.

Analysis and recommendations

After careful study of our key findings, Boardwalk begins to assign defining characteristics to your organization. These attributes, taken together, form the genesis of your brand narrative – the “story” of your brand. Then,
in close collaboration with you, we edit the story, building a platform that will provide a strong foundation for your brand’s success. Your new brand platform is then measured against real-world circumstances, and Boardwalk develops an action plan to achieve immediate positioning and launch the brand in the right direction.

Implementation

Boardwalk follows through by executing  each item of the action plan for you. These may include employee brand-engagement programs; adjustments to products, services and/or systems; naming, nomenclature systems and the development corporate “voice”; corporate and brand identity systems integrated across all media; marketing communications including traditional and new media; and facilitating the brand-building efforts of associate advisors including public relations and advertising professionals.

Review and refinement

To keep the covenant fresh and meaningful to those who are most important to your success, Boardwalk conducts periodic reviews and suggests any needed positioning refinements or other next steps.
